VICENZA - The Vicenza Military Community officially began the holiday season with a tree-lighting ceremony in the Caserma Ederle library parking lot Dec. 5, 2019. United States Army Garrison Italy Commander Col. Daniel J. Vogel introduced U.S. Army Africa Commander Maj. Gen. Roger L. Cloutier, who wished the crowd happy holidays and lit the tree with Santa Claus. The crowd enjoyed festive music by the Vicenza Middle and High schools choir and bands. Parents with their children lined up in the post library to have a photo with Santa.
