Senior Airman John Rogers, 71st Aircraft Maintenance Unit crew chief, sprays the tail fin of an HC-130J Combat King II Dec. 4, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The 71st AMU Airmen are responsible for washing the C-130 fleet 25 times a year. During the 24-hour wash period, critical components of the aircraft are lubricated and examined during a C-130 wash, which helps prevent corrosion and promotes aerodynamics.
