Staff Sgt. Robert Germanelo, member of the Marine Corps Base Quantico Shooting Team, helps his son write a letter to Santa during the Marine Corps Community Services' annual tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 5, 2019 aboard MCB Quantico. The base's brass band entertained the crowd with an assortment of music and dancing. Col. William C. Bentley, Commanding Officer of the base, even joined them by playing along on his trombone. Other special guests of the even included Santa Claus, Courtney Lynne Smits, crowned Miss Virginia USA 2019, and Base Sgt. Maj. Michael W. Hensley.
