Members from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International stand next to 628th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department leadership during a morning safety brief Dec. 3, 2019, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The department has achieved accreditation through the agency twice before and is being inspected for a third accreditation. In order to be reaccredited, the 628th CES Fire Department had to submit over 400 pages of documentation for review by the accreditation commission. The data will be reviewed at the Center for Public Safety Excellence 2020 Excellence Conference in March where the determination will be made. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Senior Airman Joshua R. Maund)
