U.S. Air Force Maj. Chris Blackwell, country planner, of Dayton, Ohio, and U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Jerry Wilkins, 448th Civil Affairs Battalion civil information management non-commissioned officer-in charge, of Pullman, Wash., help a local woman retie her clothes line after concertina wire was placed on the perimeter wall at Paul Faure Tuberculosis Hospital here May 26. The project was completed by members of the Community Assistance Volunteers group, an organization of U.S. service members assigned to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, and the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. These volunteers donate their time to help the local community with various projects to build confidence and trust with U.S. partner nations in East Africa.
