Ryan Carey (center right), Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s commanding officer speaks to Panchama Lakaee, NMCB-5’s Detail Thailand’s interpreter, and Lt. Phairat Khamboot, Marine Division, Royal Thai Marine Corps’ logistical planner, to analyze the conceptual designs of the U.S. Marine Corps Engineering Subject Matter Expert Exchange project. The prospective project will be between the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Seabees, and the Royal Thai Marine Corps; and will provide a facility for the U.S. and Thai military to train on multiple personal weapon systems.
