U.S. Army Lt. Col. Mark Vaughn uses a saws-all to cut into a beam which will be used on the sun shade project at Paul Faure Tuberculosis Hospital here May 26. The project was completed by members of the Community Assistance Volunteers group, an organization of U.S. service members assigned to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, and the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. These volunteers donate their time to help the local community with various projects to build confidence and trust with U.S. partner nations in East Africa.
