    Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa

    U.S. Army Maj. Tim Amerson of Hutto, Texas, Task Force Raptor, 3rd Squadron, 124th Cavalry Regiment operations officer and community assistance volunteer, distributes beams to be used on the sun shade project at Paul Faure Tuberculosis Hospital here May 19. The project was completed by members of the Community Assistance Volunteers group, an organization of U.S. service members assigned to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, and the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. These volunteers donate their time to assist the local community with various projects to build confidence and trust with U.S. partner nations in East Africa.
