140914-N-AS200-3713 SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH, Colorado. (Sept., 14, 2014) – Steelworker 3rd Class Dylan McChord and Seabee detachments from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 and 18, participate in the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program, providing camp maintenance and construction projects to Snow Mountain Ranch, Aug. 8 - Sept. 25, 2014. IRT is a federal government program that partners military units with community projects and provides training at the unit level to improve operational readiness. Seabees provide general engineering and civil support to Navy, Marine Corps and joint operation forces globally and support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
