191122-N-FV745-0689 SAN DIEGO (November 22, 2019) Construction Mechanic 3rd class Kash Kelly, assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 1, participates in the Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray portion of the Security Reaction Force Basics (SRF-B) training at Naval Air Station North Island on Friday, November 22, 2019. Being sprayed with OC provides Sailors a firsthand training experience to the effects of the non-lethal weapon, and to be able to perform in a high-stress environment. The Coastal Riverine Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security operation in the coastal and inland waterways.
