191122-N-FV745-0036 SAN DIEGO (November 22, 2019) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd class Justin Husey, assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 1 participates in the Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray portion of the Security Reaction Force Basics (SRF-B) training at Naval Air Station North Island on Friday, November 22, 2019. Being sprayed with OC provides Sailors a firsthand training experience to the effects of the non-lethal weapon and to be able to perform in a high-stress environment. The Coastal Riverine Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security operation in the coastal and inland waterways.
