U.S. Army Reserve Capt. Emily Juchniewicz-Armijo, an 11th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade medical service officer, shared her Native American story with members of the brigade in commemoration of National American Indian Heritage Month, Nov. 28, 2019, in Fort Carson, Colorado. National American Indian Heritage Month gives us the opportunity to reflect on our shared history as Americans and to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of our people.
