FORT BENNING, Ga. – In a November 2019 photo, housing inspectors at Fort Benning check the condition of an air filter and HVAC return vent during a quality assurance inspection of a home being readied for occupancy. This week, housing officials here say keeping your air conditioner working right and otherwise using your HVAC system properly is a big part of making it through Fort Benning's hot summers, and they're offering tips on how residents can best do that.
