A dockside gantry crane prepares to latch a 20 foot container estimated to be 35,000 pounds each containing various retrograde ammunitions at Jinhae Ammunition Pier on May 31. The 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command and 6th Ordinance Battalion in coordination with the Republic of Korea Ammunition Support Command, ROK Transcom, United States Surface Deployment and Distribution Command and the 837th Transportation Battalion have conducted two medium ship retrograde operations each year for the last few years.
