Republic of Korea pre-positioned war reserve assets are loaded on to the Military Vessel Black Eagle May 31 at Jinhae Ammunition Pier. The 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command and 6th Ordinance Battalion in coordination with the Republic of Korea Ammunition Support Command, ROK Transcom, United States Surface Deployment and Distribution Command and the 837th Transportation Battalion have conducted two medium ship retrograde operations each year for the last few years.
