    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit       

    United States Naval Corpsmen with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, United States Air Force Pararescuemen, 31st Rescue Squadron, and Army 18-D Medics, 1-1 Special Forces Group are exposing and performing a trauma assessment of a casualty during an exercise at Kin Blue training area, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 5, 2019. The battalion field exercise allowed CLB-31 to hone their combat logistics and live-fire capabilities in support of future 31st MEU operations. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps' only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
