A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter assigned to 2nd Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, mechanically lifts onto the ramp of a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster on Fort Bragg, Sept. 10, 2019. To load a Black Hawk helicopter onto a C-17, the blades must first be folded, towed to the aircraft, pushed toward the ramp, a winch attached to the tow plates, then mechanically lifted up the ramp onto loading position of the cargo compartment.
