Students enrolled in a Chemical, Biological, Radiological Nuclear, and high-yield Explosives (CBRNE) Defense Course, conduct a ground radiological survey using their equipment while wearing their Mission Oriented Protective Posture (MOPP) gear April 30. The CBRNE Defense Course also incorporated an aerial and ground radiological survey mission which simulated the detonation of a nuclear bomb requiring students to board a Boeing CH-47D Chinook during the assessment of radioactive levels in the air.
