"This is a cool first time experience," says U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Adam Hinson on the USS Germantown (LSD 42) while underway through the Bay of Bengal on Nov.17, 2019 during exercise Tiger TRIUMPH. Tiger TRIUMPH improves U.S.-Indian partnership, readiness and interoperability. It gives the U.S. Marine Corps and Indian forces the opportunity to work together, exchange knowledge and learn from each other on a range of military operations such as humanitarian assistance disaster relief and amphibious operations. Hinson is an Assault Amphbious Vehicle Crewman with Combat Assault Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, on a Unit Deployment Program to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, and is a native of Catawba, SC.
