Slovak Chief of Defense, Lt. Gen. Peter Vojtek, meets Sahara the camel during his tour of Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in central Indiana, Thursday, May 24, 2012. Indiana paired with the Slovak Republic through the State Partnership Program since 1994. The two militaries continue to exchange troops, techniques and training procedures. Indiana guardsmen and Slovak troops are currently serving shoulder-to-shoulder in Afghanistan with the Operation Mentor and Liaison Team.
