U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Dominican Republic Navy air and surface assets, combined efforts Wednesday during the interdiction of an illegal migrant voyage in the Mona Passage. The joint collaboration resulted in the recovery of all 52 migrants from a grossly overloaded makeshift boat and their safe return to the Dominican Republic.
