SAN DIEGO (Nov. 7, 2019) Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) honored the
Sailors of the Year and Bluejacket of the Year during a ceremony in the hospital's executive dinner room Nov. 7. The luncheon recognized NMCSD Sailors
who demonstrated their outstanding performance as both Sailors and role models who always displayed the Navy's Core Values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. NMCSD's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
