U.S. Navy Master Chief Leonardo Carbonel motivates Sailors during 3rd Dental Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group’s annual 5 kilometer hike at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 8, 2019. Upon completion of the hike, the Sailors conducted refresher classes on Tactical Combat Casualty Care to ensure optimal unit readiness. TCCC training involves the proper usage of tourniquets, proper medical evaluation, medical evacuation and expedient medical procedures.
