U.S. Navy aircrewmen attached to the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) prepare to distribute food and water to a group of Nicaraguans in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua, Sept. 7. U.S. Southern Command diverted Wasp from an international maritime exercise in Panama to the coast of Nicaragua Sept. 5 to assist with disaster relief efforts in areas affected by Hurricane Felix.
