191104-N-TP832-1071 FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2019) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 establish a forward operating base during NMCB-3’s field training exercise (FTX) in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. The battalion is conducting Operation Bearing Duel FTX that prepares and tests the battalion’s ability to enter a hostile location, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by Naval Construction Group 1.
