John Krug of Ottawa, Illinois, brought two restored Model T U.S. Army vehicles, a 1916 automobile and this 1917 ambulance, to the Illinois State Military Museum's Great War Encampment at the museum in Springfield, Illinois, on Nov. 9, 2019. The museum tells the history and proud legacy of the Illinois National Guard. With just two full-time employees, the museum relies on a full cadre of volunteers to operate daily and present more than a dozen events each year to thousands of visitors. (U.S. Army photo by Lt.
