U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division (2d MARDIV), are transported to a drop zone during an air-resupply training event at the Strategic Expeditionary Landing Field, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Nov. 7, 2019. The Recon Marines dropped supplies and jumped from a U.S. Army C-23B Sherpa airplane from high altitude to simulate an air-insert.
