191029-N-PP451-1019 SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 29, 2019) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Sean Johnson (front) signals Equipment Operator 3rd Class Nathan Robinson in the 11K Extendable Boom Forklift as he maneuvers stacks of lumber across the site of a pavilion being built for the U.S. Coast Guard. Both Seabees are deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Guam for construction projects that will further improve the base’s military readiness and capability. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
