191029-N-PP51-1006 SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 29, 2019) Builder 2nd Class Brenden Arcara, from Buffalo, New York, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Guam, carves out a shallow ditch through for electrical wiring to provide lights. The Seabees deployed to Guam are building a structure for the U.S. Coast Guard that will further improve the base’s military readiness and capability. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
