191029-N-PP451-1003 SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 29, 2019) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Sean Johnson, from Annandale, Minnesota, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Guam, places guide stakes which will be used to reference where the NMCB-5 Seabees will place a concrete walkway for a shade structure being built for the U.S. Coast Guard. The construction for the U.S. Coast Guard on Naval Base Guam will further improve the base’s military readiness and capability. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
