191028-N-PP451-1029 SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 28, 2019) Seabees deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Guam discuss the unique arrangement of NMCB-5 deploying adjacent to NMCB-11 during the INDOPACOM fiscal year 2020 deployment. While deployed to Guam, the Seabees are tasked with projects that will further improve military readiness and capability on board Naval Base Guam. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
