191028-N-PP51-1015 SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 28, 2019) Construction Electrician 2nd Class Justin Krug from Try, Illinois, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Guam, debriefs Master Chief Utilities Constructionman Michael Saenz, NMCB-5 operations chief, on the inventory and handling procedures of materials that are procured for NMCB-5’s construction projects that will support Naval Base Guam during their deployment. Seabees are tasked with projects that will further improve the base’s military readiness and capability. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
