U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Braden Worthington, the honor graduate and iron man for Basic Reconnaissance Course Class 5-19, passes off a rope during the course graduation ceremony in the 52 Area on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Nov. 7, 2019. BRC is one of the many courses taught by the staff at Reconnaissance Training Company, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry - West. The purpose of BRC is to train students in the basic skills associated with being a Reconnaissance Marine in order to qualify them for the primary military occupational specialty of 0321 and follow-on service within a reconnaissance unit.
