Sullivan, commanding general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, looks at a “Combat Configured” M1A2 Abrams Tank during his familiarization tour of Army Prepositioned Stocks-5, Aug. 20, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. A configured vehicle in APS-5 is special because it already has attached most of the Soldier technologies it needs to be combat ready, making it’s deployment faster.
