The vessel Golden Ray lies on it's port side after capsizing inside the St. Simons Sound near Brunswick, Georgia, Sept. 16, 2019. A Unified Command consisting of the U.S. Coast Guard, Georgia Department of Natural Resources and Gallagher Marine Systems was formed to ensure the safety of the public and responders and to facilitate the eventual salvage and safe removal of the vessel.
