JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 30, 2019) – Tony Lauderdale, patient relations officer at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, receives feedback from a sailor during his visit to the hospital. Lauderdale, a native of Atlanta, Georgia and a retired Navy senior chief of 26 years, says patient relations is an opportunity to help patients. “I get to help achieve a positive outcome for the patient. I get satisfaction from knowing that I’m part of the solution. Most of all, I’m surrounded by a team of dedicated professionals who do amazing things each day.” To help improve the care experience, patients can submit an ICE comment (either online at www.tricare.mil/MTF/Jacksonville or on-site at a kiosk). Patients can also call, email, or walk-in to Patient/Customer Relations at the hospital or its branch health clinics. (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
