JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 17, 2019) – Barbara Price, a dental hygienist at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville, performs an annual cleaning on a sailor. Price, a native of Slocomb, Alabama, says, “I have worked for the Navy for 31 years and I still love it. I enjoy the one-on-one time with my patients and educating them about how the health of the mouth affects the whole body.” October is Dental Hygiene Month.
