JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 17, 2019) – Jacqueline Potter, a dental hygienist at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville, performs an annual cleaning on a sailor. Potter, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, says, “Your dental hygiene every day at home is where it all begins, so I educate patients about their homecare during their cleaning. If you have the proper information, you’ll be successful in your overall health, not just your oral health.” October is Dental Hygiene Month.
