A U.S. Marine with Marine Rotational Force-Europe 20.1, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, fires a round from an M107 Special Applications Scoped Rifle (SASR) during a sniper live fire range in Bardufoss, Norway, Nov. 5, 2019. Marines used the range to improve their marksmanship with the M40A6 rifle and M107 SASR. MRF-E focuses on regional engagements throughout Europe by conducting various exercises, arctic cold-weather and mountain-warfare training, and military-to-military engagements, which enhance overall interoperability of the U.S. Marine Corps with allies and partners.
