The 21st Theater Sustainment Command, 598th Transportation Brigade, 839th Transportation Battalion and host-nation partners coordinated port operations to ensure the 1AD CAB’s successful redeployment to the United States. NAVSTA Rota supports Naval Forces Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT) and 6th Fleet strategic priorities by providing airfield and port facilities, security, force protection, logistical support, administrative support and emergency services to all U.S. and NATO forces.
