U.S. Marines with 1st Tank Battalion, 1st Marine Division; 2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division (2d MARDIV); and Combat Logistics Battalion 252, 2nd Marine Logistics Group repair an M88A2 Hercules recovery vehicle transmission at Camp Wilson, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Nov. 4, 2019. First Tank Battalion, 2nd Tank Battalion, and Combat Logistics Battalion 252 provide the necessary equipment and transportation for Marines to insert effectively into their area of operation. These units are participating in the execution of the MAGTF Warfighting Exercise 1-20, which is the largest unscripted, force-on-force, exercise conducted by the 2d MARDIV in several decades.
