Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan Greenert talks with sailors at a U.N. Community Advisers reception aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) during Fleet Week New York 2012. Fleet Week New York 2012 marks the 25th year the city has celebrated the nation's sea services. The seven-day event coincides with the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and will host more than 6,000 service members from the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard team in addition to coalition ships from around the world.
