An A-10C Thunderbolt II flies over the airfield during the 2019 Thunder Over South Georgia Open House combat search and rescue demonstration Nov. 3, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The demonstration included an HC-130J Combat King II, two A-10C Thunderbolt IIs, two HH-60G Pave Hawks and two F-15E Strike Eagles showcasing personnel recovery capabilities. Thunder Over South Georgia was headlined by the world famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels and featured multiple demonstrations including the F-22 Raptor Heritage Demo Team, Hot Streak II JetTruck, and the Wings of Blue Parachute Team.
