Senior Airman Brandon Ortiz, 723d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, conducts a pre-flight check before a combat search and rescue demonstration during the 2019 Thunder Over South Georgia Open House Nov. 2, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The demonstration included an HC-130J Combat King II, two A-10C Thunderbolt IIs, two HH-60G Pave Hawks and two F-15E Strike Eagles showcasing personnel recovery capabilities. Thunder Over South Georgia was headlined by the world famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels and featured multiple demonstrations including the F-22 Raptor Heritage Demo Team, Hot Streak II JetTruck and the Wings of Blue Parachute Team.
