SŁUPSK, Poland (Nov. 1, 2019) – U.S. Navy personnel assigned to Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System (AAMDS) Poland participated in a Polish tradition of placing flowers and candles at designated gravesites on All Saints Day, Fri., Nov. 1, 2019. Cmdr. Josh Wolf (left), executive officer for AAMDS Poland, and Chief Warrant Officer-2 Kevin Jones (second from right), participated in the remembrance ceremony at the Słupsk community cemetery along with their Polish military counterparts. They represented the U.S. Navy and personnel assigned to Naval Support Facility Redjikowo which will be home to AAMDS located in Redzikowo (pronounced Red-jick-ko-vo). Participation in community relations events are an important aspect of being stationed in Poland and shows a continued effort to build strong partnerships with local officials and citizens in the surrounding regions.
