U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Johnathen Cordle, an administrative specialist with the commanding general’s JUMP Platoon, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division (2d MARDIV), stands at attention while his promotion warrant is read during his promotion ceremony at Camp Wilson, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Nov. 1, 2019. Cordle, a Logan, Ohio native, has been in the Marine Corps for just over three years and plans on continuing his career. The JUMP Platoon is tasked to provide security and transportation for the commanding general throughout the MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX) 1-20.
