Marines from Marine Corps Force Cyber Command speak to engineering students during the cyber security panel discussion at the 2019 Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) conference in Phoenix, Ariz., Oct 31, 2019. SHPE is a national organization of professional engineers who serve as role models in the Hispanic community and aim to become leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians and engineers. Nearly 7,500 students, attended the SHPE 2019 National Convention, which provides college students and graduates an opportunity to network with the engineering community and show off their skills. Through a partnership with SHPE, the Marines are looking to unlock the potential of those who possess a fighting spirit that allows them to overcome adversity while staying abreast of ever-changing technology to win any battle that faces our nation.
