Australian Army officers, deployed with Task Group Taji 9, converse with French and Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) officers, at the Taji Military Complex, Iraq, Oct. 8, 2019. Task Group Taji 9 personnel alongside their French counterparts from Task Force Monsabert, delivered specialized marksmanship training to ISF soldiers ranging from, covering firing from different positions to maintaining accuracy at varying distances. Training was conducted at the platoon level and will support routine security operations being conducted by the ISF in the north Baghdad area. Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve remains committed to providing necessary training, advice and assistance to the ISF.
