U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Cody Bunn, military police with Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma, practices applying a tourniquet during “Operation Backbone" in Yuma, Arizona, Oct. 25, 2019. Operation Backbone helps to strengthen the warrior spirit in non-commissioned officers (NCOs) and promote cohesion between the different units of MCAS Yuma. The exercise consisted of a five and a half mile hike, several classes, and closed with a warriors night dinner.
