U.S. Marines and Sailors stationed on Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma talk one-on-one with the Search and Rescue (SAR) team during "Operation Backbone" in Yuma, Arizona, Oct. 25, 2019. Operation Backbone helps to strengthen the warrior spirit in non-commissioned officers (NCOs) and promote cohesion between the different units of MCAS Yuma. The exercise consisted of a five and a half mile hike with the Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS) commanding officer and sergeant major, several classes, and a warriors night dinner.
